Pepperdine Texas Tour
It's time for the 2019 Texas Tour, an annual three-city bash celebrating our Pepperdine family living in the Lone Star State. Join us June 13 through 15 in Houston, Austin, and Dallas at the homes of fellow Waves. Registration is free and includes food, drinks, and an opportunity to socialize and reconnect with your Pepperdine community. Additionally, Pepperdine president Andrew K. Benton will share his thoughts in a talk titled "Reflections on my Years as President." Register today for a Texas Tour event near you!
Special guest Andrew K. Benton will be joining us for the last Texas Tour of his tenure as the president of Pepperdine. Join us to celebrate his presidency and share your gratitude for his 19 years of servant leadership.
President Benton has served in higher education for nearly 45 years. A native of Lawrence, Kansas, he planned for a career as an attorney or probate judge in his hometown, and focused his education toward those interests. The desire to work with young people in their own pursuit of higher education was strong and he, instead, followed a career path that led to his current role as the seventh president of Pepperdine University. He assumed his current position on June 16, 2000, and he will conclude his service as president on July 31, 2019.
