Hub for Spiritual Life
The Hub for Spiritual Life engages the Pepperdine community in vibrant and consistent
experiences of worship and spiritual care. Our mission, rooted in our heritage of
faith, is to develop and integrate programs, trainings, and resources to cultivate
a vibrant and consistent spiritual life at the University.
What We Do
We recognize and celebrate that we do not provide the whole spiritual experience but are part of a greater whole. Students are nurtured in classrooms and residence halls, on athletic teams, while studying abroad, in virtual learning formats, in student activities, and more. We seek to connect our community to every spiritual life opportunity available to them.
We praise God, offer thanks, lament, and hope as gathered people, and discern what we are called to do in the world as acts of worship.
We extend hospitality in the name of Jesus, providing spaces to ask hard questions, find a spiritual mentor, study the Bible, and engage in ministry. Whether you prefer small or large group settings—we've got you covered.
We practice faith as a journey, not an arrival point. If you’re on a spiritual journey and want to learn faith practices like prayer, meditation, mercy, discernment, Sabbath rest, or sharing your faith, you are invited to come practice with us.
We provide leadership and ministry training, so come see us to get involved in serving the church and world, starting now.
