How can I submit a nomination?
Nominations will be accepted through an online system on or before June 26, 2018.
When is the deadline for submitting a nomination?
The nomination period for the 2018 Outstanding Alumni Abroad campaign will open on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at 10 AM PT, and will close on June 26, 2018, at 11:59 PM PT.
Who is eligible to enter?
Any degreed alumnus or alumna from any of Pepperdine University's five schools or George Pepperdine College who is living and working abroad is eligible to enter. For the purposes of this campaign, an "alumnus or alumna living abroad" is defined as a degreed alumnus or alumna from any of Pepperdine University's five schools or George Pepperdine College who is also a citizen or current resident of another country outside of the United States, and is currently living and working in that country.
How are the final honorees selected?
The final honorees will be selected by a multi-disciplinary, multi-school selection committee made up of both faculty and staff members of Pepperdine University.
What is the selection committee looking for?
The committee considers a wide range of factors when choosing honorees, particularly alumni who are excelling in their fields, including in corporate business, volunteering, or community work.
What else is considered during the selection process?

- Number of total recommendations
Can changes be made once the nomination is submitted?
No. Once a nomination is submitted, it is considered a final submission.
How will I know if my nomination was received?
Once you hit "Submit" on a nomination, the system will alert you that it has been received. You can also email social@pepperdine.edu to confirm receipt of your nomination.
How and when will I be notified of the selection committee's decision?
Selected honorees will be notified via email in August 2018.
