Pepperdine alumni reunions are a cherished tradition, bringing Waves from around the world together to celebrate shared experiences and relive special memories. Waves Weekend is our annual celebration of these reunions, honoring milestone anniversaries for alumni from various decades and international programs. For over 60 years, Pepperdine’s international programs have fostered life-changing exploration, academic excellence, personal growth, and a vibrant global community.
Alumni, family, and friends have the chance to continue this legacy for today’s students by visiting beloved international program locations. Alumni Affairs celebrates each program with domestic reunions and international travel, spotlighting one annually with a Grand Reunion at Waves Weekend in Malibu, followed by international travel to that program's location.

Affinity Reunions and Celebrations at Waves Weekend 2026
This year, we’re thrilled to spotlight special reunions taking place during Waves Weekend, October 9–11, 2026.
At the heart of the celebration is the Buenos Aires Grand Reunion, honoring 26 years of the Pepperdine Buenos Aires International Program. Alumni who once called Casa Holden home are invited back to reconnect, reminisce, and celebrate their global Waves experience on campus this fall at Waves Weekend.
In addition to the Buenos Aires celebration, we’re hosting a series of Affinity Reunions for the following groups, bringing together fellow Waves who shared meaningful experiences and leadership roles during their time at Pepperdine:

International Programs Reunions and Travel
Our International Program reunions and travel experiences honor the transformative global experiences that define Pepperdine. Each October during Waves Weekend in Malibu, we host a Grand International Program Reunion, celebrating one of our programs. The following summer, alumni, family, and friends are invited to travel to the celebrated program's location, offering International Program (IP) alumni the chance to return to their beloved program homes and fellow Waves the opportunity to experience Pepperdine's international campuses. These immersive travel experiences provide opportunities to relive global memories, reconnect with classmates, and strengthen ties to the University while exploring the world as Waves.

Grand Reunion | Waves Weekend 2024
The London Grand Reunion during Waves Weekend 2024 celebrated the 40th anniversary of Pepperdine’s second-oldest IP program—London. Seaver IP and Caruso Law Londoners gathered to mark this milestone, with scholarship initiatives launched in honor of the occasion to enhance student cross-cultural experiences and global perspectives: Support London IP and London Caruso Law.

In celebration of the program’s 60th anniversary, Pepperdine hosted the Heidelberg Grand Reunion during Waves Weekend in 2023 and launched the Heidelberg Student Support Fund, ensuring more students can experience this one-of-a-kind educational journey.
Former IP residents who called Moore Haus home on Heidelberg’s castle hill are part of Pepperdine’s community of the longest, continuously operated, study-abroad program.

Decade Reunions
Each Waves Weekend is designed to bring Waves back together in meaningful ways. In recent years, we celebrated milestone decades, from the 1970s through the 2000s, honoring the shared experiences that shaped each generation. For Waves Weekend 2026, we’re expanding that spirit of connection by focusing on shared affinities and interests, creating new opportunities for alumni to reconnect across classes, careers, passions, and lifelong ties to Pepperdine. All alumni are warmly invited to come home, celebrate together, and experience a Waves Weekend designed for every Wave.
‘80s Decade
Alumni from 1980–1989 gathered at Waves Weekend, October 2023, for a special reunion celebrating the many accomplishments from these class years.
‘90s Decade
Alumni from 1990–1999 took over Waves Weekend, October 2024, coming home to Malibu from all over the country and even abroad.
2000s Decade
Alumni from 2000–2009 reunited at Waves Weekend 2025, celebrating 15-25 years of impact since graduation.
