Author Steven M. Teles to Share Economics Insights

In a discussion hosted by the Pepperdine School of Public Policy, Steven M. Teles will present “The Captured Economy” at Villa Graziadio Executive Center in Malibu on Wednesday, March 21, at noon.

Based on his coauthored book, The Captured Economy: How the Powerful Enrich Themselves, Slow Down Growth, and Increase Inequality, Teles will explore 21st century America’s twin economic challenges of sluggish growth and spiraling inequality—an issue he contributes to the increase in regressive regulation.

This analysis will present an opportunity for advocates on both sides of the political spectrum to collaborate in turning the American economy around and, in the process, reduce the polarization that has affected American politics.
