Center for the Arts to Present Bob Eubanks’ Backstage with The Beatles Featuring Ticket to Ride

The Pepperdine University Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts will present a special evening of music and memories with Bob Eubanks’ Backstage with The Beatles at Smothers Theatre in Malibu on Thursday, October 27, at 8 PM. The night will culminate in a live performance of one of the most popular Beatles cover bands in America, Ticket to Ride.

Bob Eubanks’ Backstage with The Beatles is an evening of magical music, never-before-seen photos and video, and behind-the-scenes stories about The Beatles straight from Bob Eubanks himself—the only person to have produced The Beatles concerts all three years they toured America.

For 20 years, Eubanks produced and financed over 100 concerts a year, including acts like the Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Elton John, Merle Haggard, and The Beatles, which, according to Eubanks, is one of his greatest accomplishments.

With five decades of hosting programs such as Card Sharks and The Newlywed GameTV Guide voted Bob Eubanks one of the top five game show hosts of all time. He’s a nine-time Emmy award-winner and lifetime achievement award recipient, and has produced television shows for all three major networks. He has also managed the careers of Dolly Parton and Barbara Mandrell, and has produced two motion pictures, Forced to Kill and Payback.

Formed in 1997 in San Francisco by Bill Zupko, Les Perez, Kent Thompson, and Chad Labrosse, Ticket to Ride has been thrilling audiences for over a decade with a lively and fun tribute to the great music of The Beatles.

Ticket prices range between $20 and $40, and are required for attendance. For additional information about the performance, and to purchase tickets, visit the Center for the Arts page on the Pepperdine University website.
