The Pepperdine Graziadio Business School was recognized as one of the top business schools in the nation in LinkedIn's inaugural ranking of "Top MBA Programs in the U.S." Pepperdine Graziadio is ranked number 46 of 50 national business schools that offer master of business administration (MBA) degrees. Schools on the list were chosen for their strength in the career outcomes of MBA program alumni, such as job placement rates, advancement to senior-level positions, and network strength.

The rankings were developed as a result of a LinkedIn study analyzing the value of investing in a graduate business program. Results revealed the power of an MBA in boosting the careers of those who wish to join the corporate world and quickly rise the ranks. These results compelled LinkedIn researchers to ask: "Which MBA programs best set up their alumni for long-term career success?"

According to LinkedIn's methodology, full-time, AACSB-accredited MBA programs across the United States were evaluated based on data focusing on recent graduate cohorts from 2018 to 2022 that determined five pillars: hiring and demand, ability to advance, network strength, leadership potential, and gender diversity. The "hiring and demand" determination evaluated job placement rates and labor market demand. The "ability to advance" category tracked the speed at which past alumni have been hired in director- or vice president-level roles. "Network strength" tracked the depth of connection between alumni of the same program while "network quality" measured the average connections alumni have with individuals in director-level positions or above and the rate at which their networks grow before and after graduation. The "leadership potential" metric evaluated the percentage of alumni with post-MBA entrepreneurship or C-suite experience and "gender diversity" measured gender parity within recent graduate cohorts.
