Pepperdine Ranked Among US News & World Report’s “America’s Best Graduate Schools”

In US News & World Report’s 15th annual ranking of “America’s Best Graduate Schools,” both the School of Law and the Graziadio School of Business and Management were listed among the top graduate schools in the nation.

For the 10th consecutive year, the Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution at the School of Law was ranked #1 in the nation. The report also listed the School of Law at #54 out of 194 law schools, seven places higher than last year's #61. This ranking puts Pepperdine among the top seven law schools in California, tied with UC Hastings.

In addition to the US News & World Report ranking, the School of Law was recognized by the National Jurist as the top-ranked California law school for experiential learning, with Pepperdine holding the #7 spot in the country.

"To have advanced in this way is a tribute to so many people—our students, our faculty, our staff, our administration, our alumni, and our faithful donors," wrote School of Law dean Deanell Reece Tacha in a letter reflecting on the rankings success. "I truly believe that Pepperdine Law is poised to continue to find the right way to form lawyers who will serve the future with a sense of our mission, their purpose, and leadership into an unknown and difficult future."

Furthermore, Pepperdine's Fully Employed MBA program at the Graziadio School was ranked #61 in US News & World Report's list of 125 part-time MBA programs, tied with George Washington University and five other peer institutions. The report also ranked Pepperdine's Full-time MBA program #76, 20 places higher than last year's report, earning the Graziadio School the title of "Third Best Winner" by Poets & Quants.

Linda Livingstone, dean of the Graziadio School, says, "The more we can do as a community to help graduating students prepare and secure employment before graduation day and refer high-performing candidates to our open houses and information sessions, the better the Graziadio School will continue to perform where it matters: in the classroom and in the marketplace."
