Straus Institute Ranked Number One in Dispute Resolution by U.S. News & World Report
The Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law has been ranked the number one dispute resolution program in the 2018 U.S. News & World Report.
“We are thankful for and humbled by the recognition accorded by our peers, and for the continuing opportunity to engage with students and practitioners from all over the world to explore more effective ways of solving problems and managing conflict,” said Thomas J. Stipanowich, Pepperdine Law professor and Straus Institute academic director since 2006.

The Straus Institute was established in 1986 as the first dispute resolution program in the Southwest. It offers professional training programs and academic programs in dispute resolution, including a certificate, MDR, and LLM in dispute resolution.
