World-renowned Rabbi David Wolpe to Lead Spiritual Lecture at Pepperdine University

International author, educator, and rabbi David Wolpe will lead the religious discussion “What Do Jews Believe About the Messiah and the World to Come?” in the Hahn Fireside Room at the Malibu campus on Thursday, November 3, at 12 noon.

In exploring their Christian faith, most Pepperdine students ask questions about what Christianity teaches about eternal life. Yet they may not know anything about what the Jewish tradition teaches about the afterlife, or how Jesus’ teachings about eternal life compare to Jewish beliefs.

Rabbi Wolpe will introduce the teachings on afterlife from Jewish thinkers, ranging from ancients to modern philosophers. He will discuss issues relating to how people should use their time on earth, what role they have in improving the world, and whether this world can be redeemed.
