Provost Jay Brewster Appoints Sara Turki to University Registrar
August 30, 2023 – Malibu, CA – Pepperdine University Provost Jay Brewster announced today the appointment of Sara Turki to the role of University registrar.
“Sara Turki’s contributions to the Pepperdine community have been anchored by her commitment to serving students and providing a high-touch experience to all who are served by the registrar’s office,” said Provost Jay Brewster. “In her role as associate registrar of academic records since 2014, Sara has performed exceptionally well as an advisor to students, especially in her support of the University’s student veterans.”
“Sara Turki has served our students and our community so effectively through integrative services, where the student is the heart of the educational enterprise,” said Senior Vice Chancellor Hung Le. “She is a person of strong character who acts with integrity, who understands and supports our mission, who can see the big picture and knows the details at the same time. I am grateful for Sara's contribution to Pepperdine and know that she will continue to serve us well as our university registrar. Indeed, God has prepared Sara for such a time as this.”
Prior to her experience in the registrar’s office, Turki served as the assistant director of Fully Employed Programs at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School and senior student administrative services advisor at OneStop.
Turki graduated from Pepperdine Graziadio Business School with a master of science in management and leadership in 2013.
