World-Renowned Guitar Virtuoso Luca Stricagnoli Plays Triple Neck Guitar in Malibu

MALIBU, CA – September 30, 2024 – Guitar virtuoso Luca Stricagnoli will astonish audiences with his modified guitars at Smothers Theatre on Saturday, October 26 at 8 p.m. Using up to five guitars in the same piece, modified capos, and self-conceived stratagems, he continually leaves his audiences in awe wondering what is next.

With his music videos exceeding 200 million views and shows hosted in every corner of the globe, Luca Stricagnoli is considered one of the most interesting acoustic guitarists in the world. Stricagnoli started his career at the age of 10 studying classical guitar and later attending the Conservatory, the most prestigious music school in Italy. His inventions like the Guitar Ring, Reversed Triple Neck Guitar and the Reversed Slide Neck have vastly contributed to the modern evolution of acoustic guitar. His custom Triple Neck Guitar obtained viral success with over 40 million views online and his performances with this instrument have been featured in magazines everywhere—even grabbing the attention of famous bands such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Stricagnoli has played over 100 shows per year, in more than 20 countries, and in front of audiences of up to 12,000 people.

“I can’t wait to play in Malibu,” says Stricagnoli. “The show will be on the day right after my birthday. I am hoping to have a concert full of enthusiasm and great energy, and for the audience to have the best time.”

Stricagnoli’s show consists of a succession of incredible guitar performances including one guitar, two guitars at the same time, a guitar with three necks, guitars played with feet, with a kitchen knife and laying horizontally. From rock to pop, soundtracks to hip hop, and arrangements to originals, the show is surprising and full of twists. Besides the impressive guitar playing, the concert is filled with jokes and anecdotes explained in an interactive way. Stricagnoli brings an enthusiastic energy to the stage that makes him a true entertainer.
