Pepperdine School of Nursing Programs Approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing
School of Nursing to offer Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Entry Level Master’s in Nursing, Clinical Nurse Leader programs
MALIBU, California – The Pepperdine University School of Nursing has received approval from the California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) for a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and an Entry Level Master’s in Nursing, Clinical Nurse Leader (ELM-CNL) program.
The Board’s decision marks the final step of obtaining fully approved nursing degree programs, adding Pepperdine to the list of highly reputable nursing institutions in the state of California.
“Today is a historic day for Pepperdine,” said Michael Feltner, Founding Dean of the Pepperdine College of Health Science. “Our nursing graduates will inestimably impact the lives of their patients and healthcare systems across Southern California and the nation. May their lights shine brightly and bring honor and glory to our Lord.”
Pepperdine University's College of Health Science will provide world-class education for the next generation of healthcare providers. Through the combination of rigorous coursework and real-world application, students will be prepared for careers in a wide range of health-related fields.

Led by experienced faculty and healthcare practitioners, the school's inaugural offerings will prepare students for careers in nursing that will meet the demands of the growing healthcare field.
The Pepperdine School of Nursing will kick off classes in the fall of 2025.
