On Thursday, November 16, Pepperdine presents The Big Chair: A Conversation with Ned Colletti at the Los Angeles Athletic Club downtown. Colletti, a respected executive in Major League Baseball for over three decades and general manager of the LA Dodgers for nine years, will discuss his new book The Big Chair, chronicling an insider's experience working for one of the most storied franchises in professional baseball. Called "a winner" by the Wall Street Journal, the book covers the turbulent times, ownership troubles, and blockbuster trades of Colletti's tenure with the Dodgers.

At this exclusive event, Pepperdine alumni and select guests will receive additional insights into Colletti's extensive career through a moderated conversation. Pepperdine students currently have the opportunity to learn similar lessons from Colletti in his role as Executive in Residence of Sports Management for the Seaver College Communication Division.

Alumni, friends, and special guests are invited to join Pepperdine at the Los Angeles Athletic Club for this unique event.

Registration includes a discussion with author Ned Colletti, a reception with light hors d'oeuvres, and a book signing. Books will be available for purchase. Dress code is business casual. Parking is not included in registration—please pre-pay for a reduced rate.

Due to the nature of this event, no refunds will be issued.
