Shay Temas ('13)

My husband and I are internal medicine resident physicians, working in Greenville, SC at the hospital, including the ICU. While our work keeps us at the hospital long hours away from our newborn, we try to help by educating friends, neighbors and family on the reality of what is happening and ways they can help themselves. Being a physician is a call to service every day, even when it means putting your family at higher risk such as during the pandemic. Pepperdine's motto is always something I held true - freely you receive, freely give.
