Students are invited to a special celebration event to meet President and Mrs. Gash. Join the new president and first lady in Alumni Park for a festive evening of music, food trucks, and interactive games. Registration is requested.



WolfTribe Experience with Philip Folsom

Philip Folsom with Wolf - Pepperdine University

As part of the inauguration student celebration, join anthropologist and leadership coaching specialist Philip Folsom for an extraordinary leadership development experience with his wolf tribe. In this once in a lifetime session, entitled "The Time of The Lone Wolf Is Over," Phillip will demonstrate the importance of leadership and unity in the context of tribal systems with the help of a pack of wolves from Apex Protection Project. You will get to experience first-hand how wolves strengthen their packs by applying these principles. Registration is limited to 250 students per session.

Orange Session 1: 5:30–6:20 PM | Alumni Park
Blue Session 2: 7–7:50 PM | Alumni Park

Check-in is required at least 15 minutes prior to the beginning of each session. Students attending this special experience will be required to sign a release waiver. Students under the age of 18 will be required to provide a parental release waiver. Due to the special nature of these sessions, pets or service animals of any kind are strictly prohibited.


About Philip Folsom

Anthropologist Philip Folsom has been an industry leader in executive coaching and culture development for over 20 years. He is a regular instructor for USC’s Marshall School of Business and has presented at over 50 major universities across the world. Blending his groundbreaking work as an anthropologist, expertise in wolf pack behavior, and extensive experience in leadership development, he has discovered new ways to get people and teams to tap into their highest performance.
