Pepperdine Magazine is the feature magazine for Pepperdine University and its growing community of alumni, students, faculty, staff, and friends.
Guests at this year’s Seaver College graduation ceremony were moved to laughter and shrieks when two brown pelicans dove into the crowd and caused quite a commotion. The winged interlopers were ushered out of Alumni Park by two security guards and the University Events team, but not before leaving the 850 graduates and some 10,000 guests with the memory of a lifetime.
