Armada x Pepperdine Summer Internships Open to Students and Alumni

Armada

Pepperdine University has announced its Armada x Pepperdine Summer Internship, a paid, immersive summer experience designed for University students and alumni with a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship to gain real-world experience in a booming technological industry. Running from May 17 to August 6, 2027, accepted members will work directly with executive leadership to bring their ideas and unique skills to Armada, a company that brings AI capabilities and advanced computing to remote and disconnected environments.

“By providing direct access to real-world experience in the AI sector, the Armada x Pepperdine Summer Internship will help students develop the skills, professional networks, and confidence to thrive in an evolving workforce,” says Laura Kiralla, associate provost of Career Services. “Equally important, we are preparing them to bring Pepperdine's values of purpose, service, and leadership into one of the most influential industries of our time.”

Armada serves industries such as the public sector, oil and gas, mining, manufacturing, and logistics, and drives digital transformation even in the most remote and previously unconnected locations. Its expertise in edge environments has led the company to become a trusted partner to enterprises around the world. This new internship reflects the  commitment of Dan Wright (’06), founder and CEO of Armada, to bringing Pepperdine students and alumni coveted opportunities in a transformative industry.

“Pepperdine gave me a foundation that continues to shape the mission of my work and the problems I want to solve,” says Wright. “Through this internship, we hope to give Pepperdine students and alumni the opportunity to learn from Armada’s industry professionals and contribute firsthand to how technology can be used to make a meaningful impact in the world.”

Applicants may choose among four available internship opportunities: an AI engineering internship located in Bellevue, Washington; a strategy and operations internship and a marketing internship, both based in San Francisco; or a legal internship, a remote/hybrid opportunity for the spring term and located in San Francisco during the summer.

Pepperdine students and alumni from a variety of academic backgrounds are welcome to apply given the AI industry’s need for individuals who understand business, strategy, communication, operations, and the human implications of emerging technologies.

Applications are open until November 9, 2026 and will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
