STRAUS INSTITUTE FOR DISPUTE RESOLUTION: The University Partnerships Office and the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Caruso School of Law were able to collaborate to deliver a customized Certificate in Dispute Resolution for Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling employees. This program generated profitable revenue for Straus and the Caruso School of Law, as well as strengthened their relationship with the Coca-Cola company. This program not only expanded Straus’s reach into a major corporate audience but also showcased the Partnerships team’s ability to create scalable models that benefit academic departments, strengthen external relationships, and drive both enrollment and financial growth. Our Goals 

The University Partnerships Office exists to strengthen and support the Pepperdine community by creating opportunities that generate new, sustainable revenue for the university without adding financial or operational burden to individual departments. Our mission is to help internal teams do more of what they do best by identifying sponsorship and partnership opportunities that align with their goals and enhance the Pepperdine experience. Importantly, UPO acts only with the full knowledge and consent of the departments we serve. Every initiative we pursue is done in collaboration and transparency, ensuring that any brand activation, event integration, or partnership directly benefits the Pepperdine mission and the students, faculty, and programs at its heart.
