Global Justice Week
The Sudreau Global Justice Institute invites the Pepperdine community to Global Justice Week, an event designed for undergraduate, law, and other graduate students interested in exploring opportunities to advance the cause of justice around the world.
Global Justice Week 2025: The Joy of Justice
Participants enjoyed Carnival for a Cause: A Night of Joy and Impact with New York Times best-selling author Bob Goff and the Sudreau Global Justice Institute. This launch event included a free In-N-Out truck, carnival games, a dunk-your-professor dunk tank, and a worship service led by Waves Worship.
Throughout the week, attendees engaged with other prominent leaders from the global justice space, such as International Justice Mission founder Gary Haugen, participated in an “Activation Day” service project benefiting survivors of human trafficking, and attended academic sessions dedicated to the topic of human rights and the rule of law in the developing world.
Attendees of both Carnival for a Cause and Activation Day entered into a sweepstakes for an all-expense-paid trip to serve in Uganda with the Sudreau Global Justice Institute.
