Envisioning the Future of the Bible Lectures
The Pepperdine University Bible Lectures has served the churches of Christ since 1943. Each year the program brings us together as a community to share in learning, worship, and fellowship. We are grateful for all that the lectures have done and the thousands of lives they have blessed. We are excited by what they can become.
So much has changed in our world since the Bible Lectures program was first envisioned 70 years ago, and later reimagined by Jerry Rushford. With Mike Cope taking the helm, we have an opportunity to again re-envision its purpose in our ministries and in our rapidly changing world.
We invite you to join us in a continuing conversation about the future of the Bible Lectures. Help us consider all that the lectures can accomplish and mean to each of us. Help us create a program that can bring new energy to the life of the Church.
We need your voice in the conversation. We have a lot to talk about.
