About Us
Vision
We envision a Pepperdine where accessibility is embedded in campus culture with faculty & staff proactively partnering to create inclusive learning environments. In this future, universal design principles accommodate diverse access needs, educational equity is achieved through inclusive practices, and all students develop self-advocacy skills that empower them to reach their full potential.
Mission
Our mission is to enable equitable educational experiences by providing individualized accommodation services, expert knowledge of ADA requirements, and deep institutional understanding with insight into the unique nuances across university programs. Guided by a respectful approach that honors the humanity and individuality of students and colleagues, we foster student self-advocacy and deliver compassionate, responsive support. Our collaborative culture, grounded in mutual trust and respect, shapes decisions, informs resource allocation, and empowers students to fully access and engage in their education, guided by current research, evolving best practices in disability services, and a data-informed understanding of student needs.
