Pepperdine is dedicated to the personal, professional, and spiritual development of all faculty and staff members, and is proud to offer many resources to support the needs of all University employees. It is in our work that we find purpose, and through our work that we may serve and inspire others.
Professional Development Series
Regular classes, events, and symposiums offer opportunities for discussion, contemplation, and introspection, as well as equipping employees with the necessary tools to excel in their careers. These sessions also allow us to build community by aligning our work with the purpose of the University. Some courses are presented by Pepperdine employees and seek to facilitate business more efficiently within our organization; others are designed to address relevant workplace issues and are presented by experts in the field.

Professional Development Library
Books and other materials can improve your professional knowledge and expand your thinking. Human Resources has invested in hundreds of materials on a variety of subjects. All University employees are encouraged and welcome, at any time, to check out resources from our Professional Development Library. Additionally, all employees have access to Pepperdine’s LinkedIn Library which includes thousands of online trainings and courses on topics ranging from the basics of Excel to leadership fundamentals.
