Pepperdine Legacy Partners

Friends of PLP,

This year marks Pepperdine Legacy Partners' 65th anniversary of fundraising, serving, and supporting students to help them reach their educational goals. Since our founding as the Associated Women for Pepperdine by former Pepperdine first lady, Helen Young, our organization has been committed to helping students from the Churches of Christ attend Pepperdine. Our name change to "Pepperdine Legacy Partners" reflected our commitment to Pepperdine's Church of Christ heritage and a renewed dedication to assist new generations of students from the Church of Christ receive a world-class education at Pepperdine.

In honor of our 65th anniversary, we aim to raise an additional $65,000 to put towards our endowed Helen Young Scholarship. It is our intention with this expanded endowment to be able to increase our annual scholarships for future students. For the 2023-2024 school year, we awarded 50 scholarships for a total of $250,000. We would love to be able to double the amount of aid we give our students to help reduce the burden of educational costs.

Pepperdine Legacy Partners continues to believe in the mission and purpose of Pepperdine University and we hope to be able to help future generations of students receive an outstanding Christian liberal arts education. Please join our 65th-anniversary campaign by giving today and help launch us strongly into the future!
