Businesses and Nonprofits

The Pepperdine community wants to connect our students, faculty, staff, alumni, and parents with local businesses and non-profit communities.  Through these connections, we hope to provide service, mutually support, share knowledge and best practices, create mentorship opportunities, and create job and intern positions for our students and alumni.

"I’ve had the privilege of hiring and mentoring Pepperdine law, business and undergraduate students at my local businesses, and welcoming their valuable consultation work through the nonprofits I serve. Connecting with the Pepperdine community has brought fresh energy, professionalism, and a spirit of service that continues to enrich my businesses, nonprofit work, and the broader community. " — Ian Roven, Esq., The Malibu Lawyer/Howdy’s Sonrise Cafe, Malibu Sushi

“The Boys & Girls Club of Malibu is grateful for its partnership with Pepperdine University and the impact it is having on the next generation of college-bound students. Our K–12 students benefit greatly from the daily mentorship provided by the collegiate community. Through volunteerism and employment at the BGCM, sports clinics, and outings to the University for athletics events, the BGCM is proud to cultivate and celebrate this meaningful community partnership.” — Kasey Earnest, CEO of Boys and Girls Club of Malibu
