GPA Verification

A Grade Point Average (GPA) is classified as restricted information. The Registrar's Office does not release nor verify GPA over the phone. GPA verification will only be done officially in writing. To request for verification of GPA, please follow these instructions:

How to request:

Students or alumni must submit a letter of request. Sign and date it. A Request for Information Verification and Release Form  maybe submitted in lieu of a letter and sent to the Registrar's Office on the Malibu campus. Mail, fax, or deliver it in person. The written request should include the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Other Names Used at Pepperdine (if applicable)
  • CWID#
  • Address and Daytime Phone Number
  • Dates of Attendance at Pepperdine
  • Name and Address of Recipient

Note: Enclose forms that need to be completed.

Third Party Request for GPA Verification

The third party request for GPA verification must submit a signed and dated written authorization from the owner of the record specifying the type of information and the name of the person or company to whom the information is being released.

A GPA verification generated from the on-line system (1987-present) will be processed within one to two business days. For records before 1987, processing may take up to five business days. During the end of each term, GPA verifications may be delayed until grades processing is completed.
