My responsibilities include leading and managing the staff and programs that support
the spiritual development of the undergraduate and graduate students. The student
ministries team also helps build bridges of collaboration with other Pepperdine departments
as well as outside organizations and local churches. Our goal is to help students
experience God, grow in truth, and become more like Jesus.
Fun fact, two truths and a lie style: I once starred in a short film with NSYNC, was
the lead in a Disney musical theatre national tour, and have been under anesthesia
eight times.
My role consists of shepherding the student worship community, leading worship at
various Pepperdine gatherings and overseeing all elements of the Well and Waves Worship
Songwriters collective.
Outside of ministry endeavors at Pepperdine, I produce music and tour as the music
director, keyboardist and saxophonist for the island reggae band ‘Kolohe Kai’.
Christin's work focuses on mobilizing the Pepperdine community to create positive
change. She works with nonprofit partners around Southern California to create partnerships
and dynamic service projects.
Christin's own service work when she was a Seaver College student set a course for
her professional trajectory and the work she does today.
Degree: Masters in Public Policy, specialization in local/state policy & dispute resolution
My goal is to strengthen relationships and networks for the HUB among Pepperdine's
grad schools and campus partners, manage and implement projects and events within
the HUB that align with the University's mission, and strengthen engagement opportunities
for students to get connected to Spiritual community and resources on and off campus.
Jordan does life with the student-athletes. Overseeing the weekly Athlete Chapel,
various small groups, and one on one discipleship are all elements of his role.
Jordan has read all of the original Hardy Boys books.
Degree: BS, Sports Medicine ('19); MDiv. ('23) (both from Pepperdine)
My job consists of helping our students follow the way of Jesus in all that they do,
and I get to do this through directing a few of the Hub's programs. One fun fact about
me is that my life goal is to become a monk.
Degree: BA, Media Production (Seaver, '15); MBA (Graziadio, '24)
Bring together community by delivering powerful worship + helping to create a well
oiled machine behind the scenes. Fun fact, I'm a self taught guitarist. Been committed
to the craft for 19 years so far.
I oversee the administration and hospitality of the Lighthouse and Hub for Spiritual
Life front desk. I also direct the Pepperdine Preaching Series and implement strategies
to help Student Ministries run more effectively.
I assist with campus worship events, help oversee student-led worship groups, coordinate
volunteer opportunities for community engagement and service, gather content for social
media, and serve as a pastoral presence for students.
Degree: BA, Creative Writing; Master of Divinity student
As the Graduate Student Minister, I primarily oversee Pepperdine's Student-led Ministries
(SLM) program, helping train and mentor undergraduate student leaders.
A fun fact about me is that I rode camels and slept overnight in the Sahara desert!
