The Department of Public Safety offers a wide range of services to support a safe, accessible, and well-coordinated campus environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Core services include 24/7 campus monitoring, emergency response coordination, and surveillance systems (CCTV).
In addition, the Public Safety team facilitates proactive community safety initiatives, safety escorts, and real-time emergency communication systems, including mass notifications.
Expanded support services include lost and found operations, updated campus road and weather condition reports, and vehicle assistance such as jump starts and lockout services. Additionally, DPS is available to assist with event coordination plans, including on-site support, to facilitate safe and smooth operations.
The Department also oversees authorized drone operations for academic, research, and media purposes, and coordinates with student film crews to support safety and compliance during filming activities on campus.
