Student Filming Requests

Students filming on campus are required to notify the Department of Public Safety of their filming schedule 72 hours prior to the start of filming to ensure the filming meets community guidelines and does not present any undue risk to the University. Please complete the Student Filming Request for projects that meet any of the following criteria:

  • There is a request for filming to take place on a University road or in a University parking lot
  • Scripts involving use of prop weapons
  • Stage lighting will be utilized in the area surrounding Firestone Field House or near the Alumni Park tennis courts
  • There is a request to utilize amplified sound in the area surrounding Firestone Fieldhouse or near the Alumni Park tennis courts.

Please note, filming may not occur between 10 PM and 10 AM. All scripts must be reviewed and approved by a faculty advisor prior to filming.
