Nixle - Nixle is a communication system that connects residents with the agencies that serve and protect them. Residents can also register at the Nixle website to receive critical alerts and community news on their mobile devices.
PulsePoint - PulsePoint is a 911-connected mobile app that allows users to view and receive alerts on incidents being responded to by fire departments and emergency medical services.
KNX 1070 on your AM radio dial. KNX gives current road conditions (and weather together) every six minutes. We also refer to KFWB 980, also on the AM radio dial. KFWB gives current road conditions every 10 minutes.
Public Safety Road Hotline - Rain or shine, if any of the roads leading to the Malibu Campus are adversely affected, we update our road conditions hotline/voice mailbox with information obtained from the above news sources. If you would like to call our road conditions hotline, from on campus dial ROAD, from off campus dial (310) 506-ROAD.
