Residence Hall Additions and Renovations

To support the evolving needs of residential students and campus life, Pepperdine is pursuing multiple housing renewal and expansion initiatives.

The University is exploring several housing development projects to enhance the student residence experience and increase our on-campus housing portfolio. These efforts will modernize and improve student accommodations, strengthen our campus community, and create a welcoming home away from home to support the needs, well-being, and experiences of today’s Pepperdine students.

The addition of the Seaside Residence Hall in 2018 set a new standard for student housing on campus—offering a model for comfort, collaboration, and community-centered living. Building on that success, the University is developing a long-term vision to revitalize the more than 50-year-old residence halls that continue to serve our students.

These exciting campus projects will introduce a balance of inviting and flexible spaces that support both community engagement and personal privacy, creating living environments that encourage academic success, well-being, meaningful student connection, and opportunities for spiritual growth within an active community of scholars and leaders.

As planning progresses we will continue to share updates on the development of this extensive campus community project.

Approximately 61% of undergraduate students live on campus.
