Seta Khajarian (EdD '11) serves the institution as the Accreditation Liaison Officer
and as the Associate Provost for the Office of Institutional Effectiveness and assessment
since 2021. Prior to that, Seta had multiple roles in the Education Division at the
Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) teaching and directing
assessment and accreditation efforts. With about 30 years of experience in educational
settings, she has led schools in their accreditation with successful re-affirmations.
A graduate of the WASC Senior College and University Commission's (WSCUC) prestigious
Assessment Leadership Academy (ALA), she also serves on WSCUC visiting teams to reaffirm
accreditation of other universities. An experienced academician, she teaches GSEP
courses, including learning design and evaluation, and in the past, she has taught
courses in organizational leadership and leadership innovation and change as an adjunct
professor at Woodbury University in Burbank, California. Within Pepperdine, Seta is
a member of the Advancement of Student Learning Council (ASLC), University Belonging
Council (UBC), and University Academic Council (UAC). Seta has served on Leadership
Pasadena's advisory board in the past, and currently serves on the Board of Armenian
International Women's Association, LA Chapter. In 2025, Seta joined the Board of Visitors
of Pepperdine's Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP).
